When You Punish a Child

When you punish a child... you didn't win. The child did... a reprimand is better than being ignored.

In this season, parents may experience more reasons to punish their children daily. It’s like they top yesterday’s wrong with something worse. ‘Will they ever learn?’ You sigh!

Some children will face many naughty corners or get sent to their rooms.🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ I feel sorry for them. Even they can’t wait for the curfew to be lifted so that ‘Daddy can go to work’.👨‍🔧👨‍💻

Some parents will lose their voices… almost lose their heads🤦‍♀️. I feel your pulse.

Sadly, you can’t send them to your friend’s house or to Grandma’s place. Even if those places are safe, you’ll prefer not to face any harassment from force men. I mean, for how long will you keep doing that?🤷‍♂️

So whatever happens at home must be dealt with by you. And if these ‘superactive’ children🤸‍♀️🤸‍♂️ will not give you peace of mind, you’ll use Mr Bulalah on them.

That might work for a while, but think again. Many times when children ‘act up’, they’re communicating something they haven’t quite put in words yet. Yell at a child and that’s probably what he wants…

… to that child, a reprimand is better than being ignored.
