This is definitely a short article. The title is self-explanatory.
Once upon a time, we sought to integrate technology into our schools’ curricula. But times have changed. Now we must seek ways to integrate our curriculum into the technological tools available. COVID19 has changed the way we provide learning opportunities globally. Schools will rely more on the internet to serve quality education. This therefore means that having a laptop is not luxury (or as we say in Nigeria, indication that you attend a school for the ‘ajebota’), but a necessity.
Your child has a laptop, but still bends over the keyboard and picks characters one key at a time. It’s hightime she learnt some typing skills and digital literacy.
This cannot be overemphasized.
