Protesters – the New Enemy?

Protesters the new enemy?

A peaceful protest is not just one without guns or sticks. Our cause stops becoming peaceful when babies fry in traffic, sick people are not able to access hospitals or starving people cannot easily gain access to market stalls to buy food.

#EndSars Traffic
#EndSars Traffic in Nigeria

The traffic we cause are as brutal and as insensitive as the people we’re mounting pressure on. #EndPoliceBrutality therefore becomes as valid a quest as #EndProtestBrutality.

Let’s not turn ourselves into the new enemy (if there ever was one before). Employing the tactics of those who created the problem only makes us perpetuators of the same… or worse – seeing that we have created room for people with another agenda to wreak havoc and take this to a route we never intended.

We can’t fix a problem at the same level of thinking in which it was created. Let’s play high!

Things don’t have to get worse before they become better. I believe we can create a new Nigeria at the cost of no innocent life. Let’s bear in mind that some of these police officers are innocent lives too. Before you throw stones, consider that you might hit your relation.

Let’s be guided!

This is a good message I think all Nigerians , all protesters should know and have as a binding kit before embarking on our very much awaited and peaceful protest for a total emancipation of our dear and great nation , I think we can learn one or more from the superb and absolutely brilliant and illustrious illustration and demonstration of the Lekki protest format and template Mr AMOO Sir, there is much to be desired. Thanks for bringing our attention to this . You mean we can get this and other more Coordinated and Organised in a way that will still keep the Traffic flowing or better put avoid obstructing Traffic. What a Good observation and a worthy point to note … and to all my fellow protesters. #End SARS # End Police Brutality, # End Bad Governance , Corruption , Unemployment , …God bless You Sir, God bless my fellow wonderful Compatriots , and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria ! God bless You !
