In spite the #COVID19, life has to move on. It’s almost time to get back to school… back to the future. Children have been home longer than they’ve ever been. And parents are uncertain about how to get their children ready for school. There are at least eight simple things you can do. This will be a series of posts, so make sure you follow daily.
Number 1: Start Taking Your Child to Bed Early
Your child may have developed a five-month habit of watching late night movies or playing computer games till 2am. You certainly shouldn’t expect him to up and go to bed at 8pm simply because ‘school resumes tomorrow’.
Nah… it doesn’t work that way.
Habits are hard to break, bad ones (that we enjoy) especially. It’s so for children and adults alike.
So the best time to get your dear Zoro prepared for early nights is NOW!
Furthermore, children need to be well-rested before resumption. The new session is not anything like they have ever experienced. Lots of things will change and they need to be mentally alert, physically ready and emotionally balanced to accommodate these changes. Weary eyes and tardy feet won’t cope.
Trust me!
